You are not mounting a shelf for books. You are hanging something irreplaceable. The good news: if you can find a stud, you are twenty minutes from a mount that holds 60 lb and reads humidity while it does it.
In the box

Stud mount (do this if you can)
- Find a stud. Confirm at two heights with a stud finder.
- Mark screw holes at 66–72 inches to yoke center (eye level for most rooms).
- Pre-drill pilots slightly smaller than the wood screw.
- Drive screws until flush. Do not overtighten into soft pine.
- Hang the guitar. Read the RH. Feel smug.
Drywall mount
Use the included anchors only. Drill pilots, set anchors flush, attach with provided screws. If you hit void beyond 1.5 inches, pick a new spot. Your $3,000 guitar is not the place to experiment.
Pro tip: avoid mounting directly above HVAC vents. The RH reading will not represent the room, and the guitar gets blasted with dry or cold air. Not sure what your room runs? Check it free before you pick the wall.
Mistakes that cost guitars
- One screw into drywall. Never. Use the full anchor pattern.
- Wrong anchor for the wall. Match hardware to construction.

- Mounting where you cannot see the readout. Put it where you walk past daily.
